![]() ![]() The preliminary rationales developed in primitive mind sought a solution to the problems of daily adversities of lives when the lives appear to be abnormal or out of control, the human submitted to recognize the supremacy of those divine forces of the universe (Gods, deities, etc.) using prayers, offering obedience in the hope that the favors for their safety and survival will be granted. The human also reasoned that the master of the Universe that is God can be directly appealed with voice and prayer at higher elevation as it will be closer to the sky. Those forces were just not limited to Sun and Moon, two primary celestial bodies that affect our everyday's life but other natural forces like powerful winds (manifested by cyclones, hurricanes and Tornados that brings death and destruction), ocean surges, quacks, forest fires, volcanoes, and other unexpected natural forces like river flood, mudslide, avalanche and lightning that can strike without any warnings to cause death and destruction. ![]() Those natural powerful forces that are part of this universe needed to be appeased at least that was the early reasoning. ![]() The moon at night by providing light also affected the tides of the sea waves and may have concluded that there was a universal force that controls the sky and the earth and that control all these mysterious forces that greatly influenced all lives. He watched the sky at night with all shiny objects and falling stars, saw the sunrise providing sunlight, warmth, and growth, creating weather, seasons, rainfalls and winds. The modern human with his brain started asking questions about the environmental forces that affected him and found no ways of controlling them. The basic biological demands for satisfying hunger, thirst, breathing, survival and reproduction are common features in all species. When modern human was introduced to this planet in the early age of evolution of life, he inherited a "thinking and reasoning brain" that went beyond how brains of other species functioned. ![]()
